Hackers get into Sony network again

A hacker group in the US has claimed to have attacked the Sony network.

The group said it broken into Sony servers to steal more than one million passwords, email addresses and other information.

Lulz Security, a well known hacker organization, said it had easily hacked into the Sony database, where it was able to access the unencrypted passwords and other data which had been given by Sony customers.

As of Thursday, Sony had not confirmed the breach.

Sony had to shut down its network and other services following the event. It was closed for nearly a month.

But, only this week, Sony stated the PlayStation network would be fully restored in the US and Europe.
